An Athlete's Guide to Chronic Knee Pain
I went to numerous doctors—specialists even. I went through the ineffective treatment. I’ve popped pills. I’ve iced. I’ve rested. I’ve wasted over $100 in medical fees in less than one year just trying to feel somewhat healthy. That’s not mentioning the braces, creams, and supplements that turned out to be ineffective. I just got sick of waiting in doctor’s offices, so I turned to the internet. I posted a video on YouTube and ransacked forums for answers. I got nothing. I just wanted a cost-efficient, time-efficient, and effective treatment that had no strings attached. I vowed that if I ever found one, I’d deliver it to as many people as I could and with a no-strings-attached-guarantee.
I'm a writer and a coach that has suffered from every kind of chronic knee pain you could imagine. At times, I struggled to run, jump, and squat. This greatly interfered with my chance to become a “somebody” in sports. At a tryout for a collegiate basketball team, I had to sit out during a few drills because my knees flared up.
